Violent confrontations take place between Transitional Militia, Hadi forces in Abyan

ABYAN, June 23 (YPA) – Armed confrontations between the Emirati-backed Transitional Militia and the Hadi Forces militia took place on Tuesday in the occupied Abyan province.

Southern sources reported that the clashes erupted along the sites from Sheikh Salem to Al-Tariyah and Wadi Sala.

The sources indicated that the two sides used heavy weapons, including cannons, Katyusha and mortars.
The coastal city of Shakra in Abyan province witnessed major military reinforcements by Hadi’s forces to make up for the loss suffered by them on Monday evening.
It is noteworthy that the two sides signed the cease-fire agreement in Abyan, but the agreement was quickly broken and renewed confrontations after relocation.

Other sources in Shabwa confirmed that the hospitals of the city of Ataq, the capital of the province, received dozens of dead and wounded people belonging to the Hadi forces coming from Shaqra Front in Abyan province.
