Iran records 2368 new coronavirus cases

SANAA, June 21 (YPA) – The Iranian Health Ministry spokeswoman announced on Sunday that 2368 new coronavirus cases, raising the number of infections to 204952 over the past 24 hours.

She confirmed that death toll arrived to 9623 when new 116 cases were recorded.

163591 infected persons of Covid-19 have recovered, the Ministry’s spokeswoman added.

She also pointed out that 2887 are subjected to superior health care.

Khuzestan, Hormuzgan, Kermanshah and East Azerbaijan governorates are now in a state of alert in terms of the prevalence of the virus in them.
