Tehran sends sixth ship to Venezuela, defying US sanctions

TEHRAN, June 20 (YPA) – Tehran continued to defy US sanctions by sending the sixth Iranian oil tanker to the coast of Venezuela on Saturday.

An Iranian website for tracking the movement of ships and tankers reported Saturday that the Iranian oil tanker “Julsan” is still sailing in the waters of the Caribbean Sea off Barbados island, southwest of the coast of Venezuela.

The Iranian website confirmed last Tuesday that the “Julsan” ship, which is flying the Iranian flag, is carrying a shipment of gasoline and equipment for repairing refineries in Venezuela.
