Military commander Jawas wounded in Abyan, reports say

ABYAN, June 16 (YPA) – Top military commander loyal to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) was wounded during confrontations with Hadi forces in Abyan province, southern Yemen, local media reported on Tuesday.

According to the media, Thabit Jawas, the commander of the Shuqrah front for the STC militias was seriously wounded during the clashes and was then transferred to Aden.

It is worth mentioning that the Hadi puppet government appointed Thabit Jawas as the Commander of the so-called al-Anad military axis in Lahj province.
