16 citizens killed in Saudi-led airstrikes on Saada, 88 breaches committed in Hodeidah

SANAA, June 16 (YPA) – At least sixteen citizens were killed by Saudi airstrikes on Saada province, while continued to violate the ceasefire agreement in Hodeidah province in the past 24 hours, a military official told Saba News Agency on Tuesday.

The official explained that 13 citizens were killed in two airstrikes targeting citizens’ car in Shada border district in Saada province.

Also, two demining teams and a health worker were also killed in four airstrikes targeting them in the Al-Abu Jabbara valley of Kitaf district, in conjunction with missile and artillery shelling on populated villages in the districts of Shada and Razih, leaving damages to citizens’ property.

In Hdeidah, the Saudi-led aggression coalition and its mercenaries have committed 88 breaches against the UN-brokered ceasefire in the province.

According to an official in the Liaison and Coordination Officers’ Operations Room to monitor the violations on Monday, the violations included flying of five spy aircraft and three warplanes over the sky of Hodeidah city and Kilo 16, al-Jabalyah and Hays areas, as well as infiltration attempts in Hays.

The violations also included the creation of combat fortifications in Hays district and al-Jabaliya area, 21 breaches by firing 81 artillery shells and 75 breaches by gunfire, the official added.

Meanwhile, Saudi-led aggression coalition warplanes carried out 62 strikes on Marib province in the same day. The airstrikes hit Maghal and Majzar districts, leaving heavy damages to the citizens’ property.

Moreover, the coalition aircraft waged three raids on Khub WaShaef district in Jawf province, as well as a raid on Jabal Towilaq in Jizan rejoin.
