India records highest number of corona cases in day

SANAA, June 13 (YPA) – India has recorded the highest number of new infections with the new Corona virus in one day, according to data released by the Indian Federal Health Ministry on Saturday.
The data of the Ministry of Health in India showed that the largest increase in new cases of corona virus was recorded in one day, after 11,458 confirmed cases were announced, which brings the total infections in the country to more than 300,000 cases.
India now has the fourth worst disease outbreak in the world after its numbers exceeded its British counterpart on Friday, according to Reuters.
The number of cases of the disease in India continues to increase despite general isolation measures imposed across the country in late March but have since been reduced.
Data showed on Saturday that the number of confirmed cases of Corona in Maharashtra, which is experiencing the worst outbreak in India, exceeded the threshold of 100 thousand injuries, as the capital, New Delhi, where the health system suffers from the spread of the disease, recorded more than 2000 new cases.
On Friday, the Indian government said the recovery rate had improved with the recovery of more than 147,000, despite the burden of increasing cases.
The number of active cases of the virus is currently 145,779, while 8884 deaths were recorded.
