Syrian army thwarts terrorist attack in Hama countryside

SANAA, June 9 (YPA) – The Syrian army has on Monday thwarted ed an launched by terrorist organizations on al-Tanjara, Fatatra axis in northern Ghab, Hama countryside, Syrian official News Agency SANA reported.

According to SANA, a military source said the terrorist organizations, positioned in northern Ghab region targeted through vehicle bombs and suicidal persons, two military points in al-Tanjara and al-Fatatra towns.

The Syrian army personnel confronted the attacks, and after hours-long fierce clashes, they restored full control to the two points, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists, and seized their weapons in addition to destroying 4-wheels vehicle, carrying with 14.5 machine guns.
