Islah surprises STC with Turkish military technology in Abyan

ABYAN, June 8 (YPA) – Islah Party had introduced a Turkish military technology in its fighting with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias in Abyan province, southern Yemen, sources reported on Monday.

The sources pointed out that the appearance of drones belonging to the Islah party militants in Shoqra front of the province represents “a great danger that needs a serious stand by Saudi-led coalition countries.”

At the end of last March, Salah Bin Laghbar, a journalist, had revealed that a Turkish ship loaded with weapons had arrived in the coastal city of Shoqra, which is controlled by the Islah Party.

Bin Laghbar added, in a tweet on Twitter, that Islah militants transported those weapons via small boats to al-Arqoub camp.
