Coalition battleships destroy civilians’ farms in Hajjah

HAJJAH, June 8 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition forces on Monday launched a bombardment on Hajjah province, targeting civilians’ farms in Abs district, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

The coalition battleships bombed farms of citizens in al-Jar area in Abas district, causing large damage to farms and property, the official said.

He explained that this attack comes in the context of the continued attacks by the coalition navy on Yemeni farmers and fishermen along the western coast overlooking the Red Sea.

It is worth noting that on May 7, the coalition battleships committed a crime against civilians in the Abs district, killing four civilians, including a child, and wounding another child in similar bombing in the al-Jar area.

On April 6, the coalition air strikes targeted two farms in the al-Jar area in Abs district, wounding a citizen.
