High heat-wave expected for 24 hours

SANAA, June 7 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) expected on Sunday a high heat-wave in several Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.

The center affirmed in its weather forecast that southern and western coasts would be the hot weather to partly cloudy with the possibility of cumulative clouds, as well as to moderate winds reaching a maximum speed of 28 knot.

According to the center, the mountainous highlands might be clear to partly cloudy with the possibility to from the cumulative clouds accompanied by light to moderate rains.

The center said that the weather of Socotra archipelago would be partially cloudy with the wind reaching its speed between 20-40 knots.

It warned citizens living in or going to desert and coastal areas from the high heat-wave during the day.
