Angry protesters close main streets in Aden

ADEN, June 4 (YPA) – Dozens of angry citizens staged a demonstration in the port city of Aden, southern Yemen, on Thursday, blocking on the main streets in the city.

Local sources in the city said that the demonstrators blocked Queen Arwa street in Crater district in protest against the deteriorating electricity, health and water services in the city.

The protesters set fire to worn tires in the streets, demanding the exit of Saudi-led coalition forces from Aden and all the occupied southern provinces, which were provided with nothing but ruin, corruption and the services collapse.

Protesting citizens called on the local authorities to urgently remove waste water from neighborhoods.
