Heavy rains plague Shoqra city in Abyan

ABYAN, June 4 (YPA) – The southern coastal city of Shoqra in Abyan province has witnessed heavy rains which have caused massive torrential floods in all areas, causing damages to many houses and shops in the city, in addition to cutting traffic.

Local sources confirmed that dozens of houses and shops had been flooded due to heavy rains that led to traffic stop to and from the city.

At dawn, the city witnessed a mass displacement of dozens of families trapped by floodwaters.
