Corona deaths exceed 50 thousand in Britain

SANAA, June 3 (YPA) – The number of deaths due to corona virus infection in the UK has exceeded the 50,000 cases, according to a Reuters count based on official sources for the data.

New data from Scotland raised the toll in Britain to 50059, which means an appalling phase, at a time when Prime Minister Boris Johnson is trying to ease the tough public isolation measures imposed to combat the virus.

The Reuters count mainly includes cases reported in the death certificates of their owners due to Corona disease, in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, until May 22 and until May 31 in Scotland.

Contrary to the government’s daily toll, the death certificate numbers include suspected cases of the virus.

The Reuters count also includes deaths that occurred in English hospitals after May 23, and in Wales and Northern Ireland.
