Tarik Afash allows Eritrean forces to storm Yemeni coast in Khokhah city

HODEIDAH, June 3 (YPA) – About five patrols belonging to Eritrean forces stormed on Wednesday the Yemeni coast nearby Tarik Afash-held city of Khokhah, according to sources in Hodeidah province.

The sources affirmed that the Eritrean patrols arrested 100 Yemeni fishermen and seized 25 boats, which were located some 15 miles from Khokhah port.

The move came after the fishermen in the port revealed that the UAE-backed Tarik Afash handed over Yemen’s Hanish archipelago to the Eritrean forces and imposed strict measures on freedom of the fishermen and fishing sites.
