8 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Taiz, including 2 deaths

TAIZ, June 2 (YPA) – Spokesperson for the Emergency Committee in Taiz province Dr. Ahmed Mansour on Tuesday confirmed that eight new cases infected with Corona virus (COVID-19) were recorded in the province, including two deaths.

The number of deaths from the Corona virus in the city of Taiz has reached fifteen, while the total number of laboratory-confirmed infection cases has reached 62, Dr. al-Mansour said.

He added that four cases have recovered, pointing out that there are 43 active cases receiving treatment in the therapeutic isolation centers and voluntary home quarantine and under the supervision of the response team.
