3 civilians killed as park hit by shelling in Tripoli

SANAA, June 1 (YPA) – At least three people were killed and other wounded, as a result of shelling at a grassy area used as a park of Tripoli on Sunday, medics said.

The shelling hit the outskirts of al-Andalus, west of central Tripoli, according to Russian Today (RT).

At least 3 people were killed and 12 injured when the shells hit a grassy area that residents normally use to relax, said spokesman for the Center for Field Medicine and Support Malik Morsit Al-Ahrar.

Osama Ali, a spokesman for the local ambulance service, said five people were killed there and nearby.
