Zionist forces target Palestinian fishermen, settlers cut down 40 olive trees
SANAA, May 16 (YPA) – Zionist enemy boats opened, on Saturday morning, heavy machine gun fire towards Palestinian fishermen boats off the northwestern Gaza Strip, while settlers cut dozens of olive trees in the West Bank.
Palestinian sources reported that the enemy boats opened heavy gunfire at the fishermen’s boats, but no injuries were reported.
The Zionist enemy forces deliberately fire daily towards the fishermen’s boats.
In the West Bank, settlers cut dozens of olive trees from the lands of Nahalin, west of Bethlehem.
Deputy Mayor of Nahalin, Hani Fannoun, stated that the “Givot” settlers located in the “Gush Asioun” settlement bloc cut 40 olive trees in the Wadi Jamjoum region.
It is noteworthy that the town of Nahalin was recently exposed to a settlement attack, which consisted of notifying a number of inhabited houses, under construction, retaining walls, and others to stop construction.
