SANAA, May 7 (YPA) – Human Rights Ministry in Sanaa on Monday said targeting of a densely populated area by Saudi-led coalition aircrafts reveals intentions to commit more crimes against civilians in Yemen.
The ministry condemned, in a statement, the coalition’s airstrikes on the presidential office in central of the capital Sanaa earlier the day, which led to killing six civilians and wounding over 60 others, in an initial toll.
The statement considered the attack a premeditated crime and a direct targeting of dozens of civilians.
“It is a new crime added to the series of crimes committed against the Yemeni people for more than three years of the war,” the statement said.
The ministry reiterated its call for the formation of an international commission of inquiry to investigate all crimes and violations against the Yemeni people and to bring all those involved in these crimes before the international judiciary as war criminals.
