Citizens of Aden call for angry popular protest against coalition mercenary factions

ADEN, May 8 (YPA) – In conjunction with catastrophicsituation, deterioration of services and spread of epidemics and diseases in the southern port city of Aden, in light of complete neglect of suffering of citizens. by the UAE-backed Southern transitional and Hadi government, Ahrar Aden movement and other components called for an angry popular demonstration against the STC, Hadi and the coalition, under the slogan “We are all for you, Aden”.

On its Facebook page, the movement said “it is time for an uprising armed revolt to expel the invaders and occupiers, referring to the UAE and Saudi Arabia, which control Aden and the southern provinces.

The movement explained that this revolution comes against the deteriorating services, primarily the power and water outages, the spread of epidemics, diseases and the insecurity that has been going on for five years.

The movement pointed out that the current situation in Aden is no longer sustainable, as several people lost their lives due to epidemics and diseases.

It called on all citizens of Aden to declare the armed struggle against the coalition, stressing “dying defending dignity is more honorable than dying amid piles of garbage.”

The movement has set a date for the march to take to the streets in Aden on Saturday (May 9th) in order to reject the continuation of the disastrous situation of Aden’s people.

Dozens of people have died in the past two days due to the fever epidemic and the spread of the coronavirus in Aden.

These calls come against the continued silence, disregard for Hadi and the STC to the suffering of citizens, the deterioration of health services, power cuts, water and insecurity.
