Yemeni riyal declines dramatically in southern provinces

SANAA, April 28 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rate witnessed a significant decrease in the southern provinces on Tuesday reaching 685 riyals per dollar in Aden province and 683.5 in Hadramout province.

In the capital Sanaa, the riyal exchange rate maintained its stability at 600.5 Yemeni riyals per dollar, while the average price of dollar on the black market reached 605 riyals.

The dollar’s price remained stable at 250 riyals in the Central Bank in Sanaa, and 440 riyals in other Yemeni banks in the capital Sanaa.
