STC militiaman killed, another kidnapped in Abyan by Islah forces

ABYAN, April 22 (YPA) – A militiaman loyal to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia was killed on Wednesday in an attack by launched Islah party forces in Abyan province, southern Yemen, local sources said.
According to the sources al-Islah militants had launched a violent attack on a Tanokh security point for the STC militia in Duthina district.
The sources said that the attack left one STC member killed and another was abducted by gunmen aboard military vehicle coming from Marib.
Earlier in the day, a citizen was killed on Wednesday by unknown gunmen fires in the same province
The sources confirmed that the gunmen were riding a motorcycle when they shot dead the civilian in Maudyah market.
