Islah Party militants flee from Abyan camps towards Shabwa

ABYAN, April 21 (YPA) – Local sources revealed on Tuesday evening a mass flight of Islah Party militants from Shoqra city in Abyan province towards the city of Ataq, the capital of Shabwa province.

The sources confirmed that the Saudi forces command in Aden province had given the military leaders of Islah 24 hours to evacuate their camps in Shoqra and Qaran al-Kalasi, otherwise they would be bombed by warplanes.

The Saudi-Emirati coordination forced Islah to withdraw its militants from the confrontation fronts with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council in Abyan and transfer them to Shabwa and then to Marib, during the first stage of the agreement, the sources added.
