Army takes over new areas towards Marib

MARIB, April 15 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees confronted on Wednesday against US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition’s mercenaries beside the road which links Marib province and border al-Wadiaah crossing, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The army was able to repel a wide-scale coalition’s mercenaries in al-Raa and Suhail hills of Sirwah district and took over various areas.

The sources confirmed that the army became close to Marib city, about 10 km/sq.
