SANAA, April 12 (YPA) – A 6.1-magnitude earthquake struck north of France’s Amsterdam Island in the South Indian Ocean.
The US Geological Survey said that a 6.1-magnitude earthquake shook an area 96 kilometers north of Amsterdam, France at 12:27 pm (06:57 GMT) on Sunday, local time.

The epicenter of the 10.0 km depth was initially determined at latitude 36.9637 ° S and longitude 77.4459 ° E.
