STC’s leading member calls for removal of “legitimacy” after 5 years of failure
SANAA, April 9 (YPA) – A leading member in the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) has called for ousting the legitimacy of the so-called “legitimate government” for its failure in achieving any political or military victory over five years.
Dr. Hussein Laqwer said in a series of tweets on Twitter: “The Gulf initiative fell with its parties. Sanaa dialogue results fell after the emergence of new powers that did not participate in it. And the legitimacy of legitimate government (Hadi’s government) fell after five years of failure without achieving political, military, or even administrative or economic victory.”
“As a result of the deterioration of the legitimacy (of Hadi) and its oldness, it is imperative to drop it from the official records and convert it for spare parts,” he added.
