Leader in STC attacks Islah Party in Shabwa

SHABWA, April 8 (YPA) – A leader in the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) on Wednesday attacked the Saudi-supported Islah Party militants in Shabwa province.

Ahmed Omar bin Farid, the leader in the STC, on his Twitter account, said, “We will not condemn and be surprised from the incident of the kidnapping of the representative of the STC in Shabwa, Mohsin al-Suleimani by the Islah militants being a group of thugs and thieves,” he added.

He said that Islah party did open the door wide to reactions in response to its behavior.
