Saudi Arabia offers billions of riyals for tribal mercenaries to restore Qaniya front, Jawf province
MARIB, April 7 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia has offered billions of riyals to tribal mercenaries to retake Jawf province, the fronts of Qaniya and Nati’ in Bayda province, local sources told Yemen Press Agency on Tuesday.
According to the Local sources in Marib province, Hamdan al-Shammari, commander of Saudi forces in Marib, held a meeting with tribal mercenaries in order to bid to retake many fronts taken by the army and committees from the hands of coalition forces.
The sources said that the Qaniya front has docked on Sheikh Saleh al-Shajri, commander of the coalition forces in the Front of Mukayras and lawder districts and Jawf Front has also docked on Sheikh Mohammed al-Qabli al-Muradi.
Ali bin Mohsen Salah, one of the officers of the so-called General Staff of “Hadi Forces”, revealed last Sunday, on a Facebook post that a contract operation was based on mercenaries from the Murad tribe worth one billion riyals in order to restore Qaniya and Nati’ in Bayda province bordering Marib province.
Salah said: Inside the headquarters of the coalition forces in Marib, a billion riyals contract was laid off on mercenaries from the Murad tribe in exchange for the restoration of Qaniya and Nati’.districts.
Salah indicated that many of Murad’s sheikhs went home after receiving the money and shut down their mobile phones.
