China records new coronavirus cases

SANAA, March 24 (YPA) – China again recorded new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19)  on Tuesday, more than five days after no cases were reported, according to the National Health Commission.

China reported one case in the Hubei region, the “epicenter of the outbreak”, while another three were reported in different parts of mainland China.

The number of infections from abroad to China doubled, with 74 new foreigners coming from abroad, up from 39 on Sunday.

According to the National Health Commission, China reported 78 new cases of corona on Monday, an increase of two times over Sunday.

Globally, infections with the new coronavirus, which first appeared in central China at the end of last year, exceeded 374,000 infections and more than 16,000 deaths, while the number of cured people exceeded 101,000.
