HODEIDAH, March 23 (YPA) – A southern military commander in Al-Amaliqa brigades loyal to Saudi-led coalition was assassinated in the western coast of Hodeidah province, military sources reported on Sunday.
The sources explained that Rami al-Qaisi, commander of the so-called “Third Al-Amaliqa Brigade” was killed in a blast of an explosive device placed in a military car was carrying him in al-Faza area, south of al-Tuhita district.
The assassination of al-Qais comes within a series of assassination targeted southern military commanders in the western coast, accoring to the sources.
This comes three days after the assassination of A’ahd al-Shaboti, chief of staff of the so-called “Al-Mehdhar Brigade”, along with a number of his escorts in al-Durayhimi district.
