NCM warns against landslides due to torrential rain for coming 24 hours

SANAA, March 22 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) on Sunday warned citizens and drives of landslides on the main road due to the torrential rainfall for the next 24 hours in the mountainous provinces.

The center expected in its weather forecast the noticeable decline in the range of horizontal visibility due to rains and fog formation on mountainous slopes.

The NCM affirmed that the weather would be partly cloudy to cloudy on the mountainous, desert and coastal areas of Hajjah, Mahweet, Rima, Ibb, Taiz, Abyan, Lahj, Jawf, Shabwa, Hadramout and Marib, with rain fall accompanied with thunderstorms.
