US-led coalition forces announce withdrawal from base in Iraq
SANAA, March 18 (YPA) – US-led coalition forces in Iraq announced their withdrawal from Al-Qaim base in western Iraq, with the Syrian borders.
The Iraqi army took over Al-Qaim base after the international coalition forces withdrew from it at the phosphate train station south of Al-Qaim city.
It is noteworthy that two missiles targeted the locations of the American forces in Camp Bsmaya in Baghdad on Tuesday in the third attack of its kind in less than a week.
Iraq announced to submit a formal complaint against the United States to the United Nations and the Security Council, in protest against the American bombing of security, military and civilian sites, which left six people dead.
