TAIZ, May 3 (YPA) – The leadership of the Islah party militias refused to appoint one of the leaders of coalition-backed militias as a director in Taiz province on the pretext that he was not from the group involved in the liberation of the province, a local official told Yemen Press Agency.
The Islah Party leaders in Taiz province rejected the decision of the local authority on appointing Abdul Qawi al-Wajeh as director of Sabir-Misrakh district , because he is not from their group.
The Islah leaders attributed all the sacrifices and fighting for themselves, the official said.
The Islah militias also are seeking to acquire all the government facilities in Taiz province and subject it to its control, which prompted all their elements to fight what they call the “Huthis”.
The recent conflict with the UAE-backed Salafist militia, Abu Abbas, was only to oppose him the interests of Islah in Taiz.
