FM, ICRC discuss number of areas to enhance cooperation

SANAA, March 8 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf Abdullah met on Sunday with the ICRC’s deputy head of delegation in Yemen to discuss a number of areas to enhance and develop cooperation between Yemen and the ICRC.

During the meeting, the minister appreciated a role played by the ICRC delegation in the humanitarian action towards Yemen, stressing the readiness to provide the necessary facilities to overcome challenges that face the delegation’s work.

Meanwhile, the ICRC’s official affirmed that the delegation would play a role to provide all possible support to the Yemeni people to alleviate the humanitarian suffering.
