Prime Minister inaugurates afforestation season for 2020

SANAA, March 7 (Saba) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Saturday inaugurated the afforestation season for the current year, 2020, at the level of the capital Sanaa and provinces.

About two million various seedlings, including coffee, almonds, and forest and ornamental trees are to be planted during the afforestation season, according to the Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Abdulmalik al-Thawr.

The Prime Minister along with a number of the ministers and officials in the capital planted a number of trees and seedlings in the garden of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and in Al-Saiylah Park near Sanaa International Airport.
