Tawoos discusses aspects of coordination with ECHO office

SANAA, Feb. 23 (YPA) – The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs Abdul Mohsen Tawoos, discussed on Sunday with the Director of the Office of EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid (ECHO), Aldo Boldini, aspects of coordination between the two sides.

The two officials touched upon the mechanisms of joint cooperation for carrying out a number of programs, projects and activities that serve the humanitarian work in Yemen.

Tawoos stressed on the importance of providing all facilities to overcome challenges and difficulties that face humanitarian organizations.

Meanwhile, Boldini affirmed the European Union’s keenness to positively stand with Yemen for finding appropriate solutions and putting proposals to back the humanitarian side.
