President congratulates Yemen’s workers on their day

SANAA, May 1 (YPA) – President Mahdi al-Mashat congratulated the Yemeni workers on the World Labor Day, which falls on May 1 of each year.

“We proudly recall on this glorious occasion the sacrifices and sufferings of all the Yemeni workers who are model for all the workers of the world,” President said in his speech on the occasion of World Labor Day, State Agency reported.

He noted that despite difficult economic conditions, suffering and cut of salaries due to economic targeting by US-Saudi led aggression to Yemen for more than three years, but the Yemeni workers are there in all fields with patience, steadfastness and sacrifice without fatigue.

“The workers of Yemen are and still the builders of the nation, the leaders of its renaissance, and they are the fundamental pillar of the steadfastness today”, the president said.

“We take this opportunity to emphasize that the responsibility of building and promoting the nation rests in all of us today,” he said.

The martyred President Saleh Ali al-Sammad launched a state-building project, under the Slogan “hand to build and the other to protect” he said, adding that we confirm today that the Yemeni people have all the determination and the will to pursue it to achieve its goals.
