President meets sheikhs, dignitaries of Sanaa

SANAA, April 30 (YPA)- President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat met with a number of Sheikhs and dignitaries of Sanaa districts on Monday.

At the meeting, president Madi al-Mashat praised the role of the Yemeni tribes in the face of Saudi-led aggression and their continued support for the fronts and their active role in thwarting all plans of the aggression.

President Mahdi al-Mashat said that the country is going through difficult and extraordinary circumstances that required everyone to be vigilant and doing more efforts to strengthen social solidarity and to confront the Saudi-American aggression.

They also discussed the current situation on the national scene in light of the military escalation and crimes committed Saudi-led coalition, and the targeting of the martyred president Saleh al-Sammad as well as targeting the mourners by the Saudi-led coalition.

President expressed his pleasure to meet the sheikhs and senior officials of Sana’a districts to discuss the situation in these districts as well as the factors of steadfastness in the face of US-backed Saudi-led aggression on Yemen.
