SANAA, Feb. 15 (YPA) – Prime Minister Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtour met on Saturday with Sherin Varkey, deputy representative of the U.N. Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Yemen.
At the meeting, the officials discussed cooperation relations between Yemen and UNICEF in the humanitarian field and implementing the cash-transfer project, “Social Security Pensions”, which benefits more millions of the Yemeni people, including teachers.
Bin Habtour praised great efforts made by the UNICEF for alleviating the suffering the Yemeni people as a result of the Saudi-led aggression coalition and its siege on Yemen.
Meawhile, Varkey affirmed that the UNICEF would exert efforts for continuing in its works and implementing its humanitarian projects in Yemen.
