27 people killed, 57 injured in shooting in Thailand
SANAA, Feb. 9 (YPA) – Thai Prime Minister General Prut Chan Chancha announced at a press conference that 27 people were killed during the shooting in Thailand, including the criminal, and 57 were injured.
A press conference at Maharat Hospital in Nakhon Ratchasima was broadcast live by all Thai TV stations.
The Prime Minister said: “According to updated data, 27 people have died, including Special Forces soldiers, civilians and criminals. 57 people were injured, 45 of them were discharged from hospitals and returned to their homes.
He added: “Neurosurgery was performed for two of the wounded, one of whom underwent a critical intestine surgery, and two in the legs, while the others were slightly injured.”
On Saturday, an armed soldier shot a shopping center in northeastern Thailand and the soldier who carried out the attack was killed.
