Armed clashes erupt between 2 tribes in Shabwa
SHABWA, Feb. 3 (YPA) – Wide tribal clashes erupted Monday in Habban district of Shabwa province, eastern Yemen, between Al Mujawar tribe and Al Mohammed tribe, to which Shabwa governor in Hadi’s government Mohammed Adiyu belongs.
The clashes resulted in a number of wounded from both tribes, sources told Yemen Press Agency.
The sources said that the tribe clashes came after military clashes between armed groups affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council and the governor’s tribe loyal to Hadi’s government.
