STC leases symbols of struggle in Aden

ADEN, Jan. 30 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC),
leased the famous public square ” performance square “in Aden province, southern Yemen.

Political sources in the province explained that renting the stage of the performances in the Khor Makser area, was in order to avoid any political escalation against the southern transitional.

The sources confirmed that STC militias worked to divide the exhibition arena into parking lots, and rent it to international organizations in foreign currency.

Political activists opposed to the southern transition believe that renting the parade arena could lead to a political and popular escalation against the Transitional, after it took control of Aden in August 2019.

On Wednesday, the Southern Revolutionary Movement called for a popular revolt against the Coalition Forces and the Southern Transitional Council (STC) as a result of the bread crisis and the closure of oil derivatives terminals in Aden.
