Yemeni army advances in Nihem front

SANAA, Jan. 22 (YPA) – Al-Jazeera TV refuted all news circulated by Saudi-led coalition media about the advancing of its forces in the Front of Nihem in Sanaa province on Wednesday.

According to Al Jazeera correspondent Samir al-Nimri , the Yemeni army forces and committees were able to take control over strategic positions in Nihem front.

In a tweet posted on his Twitter account, Al-Nimri said coalition forces had withdrawn from positions they controlled.

He noted that the army and committees continue to advance on a number of front axes.

Forces loyal to the National Salvation Government took control of the strategic Jabal al-Manar in the Nihem front after coalition forces withdrew from the areas where they were camped in Jabal al-Manar.

It is worth mentioning that this news came after the coalition media broadcast a rumour about the progress of the coalition forces in Nihem district.
