SANAA, Jan. 18 (YPA) – The Syrian army units operating on the southeastern axis of Idlib countryside thwarted on Saturday a violent attack by takfiri groups towards the military points and the safe areas, and suffered huge losses.
SANA reported that during the past hours, army units engaged in violent clashes with Takfiri groups, attacking army sites and safe villages on the Abu Jarif axis in the southeast Idlib countryside.
The clashes ended with the attack being thwarted after the killing and wounding of a number of takfiris, and the destruction of their heavy machinery.
In addition, the security chaos continued in the areas occupied by the Turkish regime forces and its mercenaries from Takfiris in Hasaka countryside, where clashes erupted between the terrorist mercenaries due to differences and mutual accusations of carrying out assassinations that targeted a number of their defendants in the city of Ras al-Ain and its surroundings northwest of Hasaka.
