Deputy PM stresses importance of preserving on Yemeni coffee farming

SANAA, Jan. 15 (YPA) – Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development Hussein Maqbouli on Wednesday stressed on the importance of preserving on farming the Yemeni coffee.

“The Yemeni coffee represents a civilizational and historical identity for Yemen and the Yemeni people, and its preservation is an integral part of our adherence to agricultural identity,” Maqbouli said at the founding conference of the Coffee Production Cooperative Union.

Maqbouli urged Ministry of Agriculture to double efforts in supporting and encouraging coffee agriculture and its farmers at the Yemeni areas.

The conference was organized by Ministries of Agriculture, Social Affairs and Labor
