NMC issues alert for very cold wave in various provinces

SANAA, Jan. 15 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center (NMC) issued on Wednesday alert for a very cold wave in various provinces during the next 24 hours.

The center stated in its weather bulletin that the cold wave would prevail on mountainous highlands in the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Ibb, Dhalea, Abyan, Lahj and Shabwah.

It indicated that the weather would be accompanied by a dry air mass on the deserts and internal plateaus.

The Center alerted the residents in these provinces, especially the old men, children and farmers, from the severe cold wave during the evening and early morning.
