HODEIDAH, Jan. 8 (YPA) – The Prosecution Office in Hodeidah province on Wednesday destroyed seven tons of expired medicines and nutritional supplements belonging to Action Against Hunger organization (or Action Contre La Faim (ACF) in French).
The destroyed quantity, which was seized in the organization’s stores, includes 48 items of antibiotics, nutrients, intravenous fluids, ampoules, vitamins, ointments and others.
This came after completing all the legal procedures by the prosecution through verifying that those materials are unsuitable, as they had been poorly stored and exposed to heat and high humidity.
