Yemeni army repel Saudi army mercenaries’ attack in Jizan

JIZAN, Dec. 28 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed by popular committees on Friday evening managed to repel an attempt to advance by Saudi army and its mercenary soldiers off al-Doud Mountain in Jizan region, a military official said.

The official confirmed that the confrontations resulted in several dead and wounded in ranks of the Saudi army, in addition to losses in military gear.

He added that the army and popular committees also targeted a group of Saudi soldiers and military vehicles on the same front, inflicting heavy casualties on them.
