President al-Mashat meets scholars of Mobilization Committee

SANAA, Dec. 21 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Saturday met with the Mobilization Committee consisting of a group of scholars representing various Islamic doctrines in Yemen.

The President was briefed, during the meeting, on the efforts made by the Committee during the past five years in the framework of mobilization and field visits to various provinces to strengthen the internal front to confront the aggression.

At the meeting, President al-Mashat said that “it is the adherence to the faith identity that enabled the Yemeni people to achieve the victories that are counted to each citizen and not to a specific component or sect.”

The President expressed his thanks for the scholars’ efforts and their role in uniting the word, which is an essential element of the culture and faith identity.

“By the grace of Allah and the efforts of the people and scholars, all of the enemy’s hopes for a sectarian war have been shattered in Yemen,” he said.
