Electricity Minister affirms need to search for alternative energy sources

SANAA, Dec. 15 (YPA) – Minister of Electricity Atiq Hussein Abbar on Sunday stressed the necessity of searching for alternative energy sources to contribute to overcoming the challenges facing the electricity sector.

During a weekly meeting, the minister discussed the Ministry plan for 2020, which will play role in improving the level of work in the electricity sector through reaching for others sources as solar energy, gas and thermal power plants and coal plants.

Abbar stressed on the importance of work together as one team to overcome difficulties and challenges have caused by the continued aggression and its blockade on Yemen.
