Report: Saudi-led coalition occupies, establishes military bases in Yemeni islands

SANAA, Dec. 15 (YPA) – In flagrant violations of the Yemeni sovereignty and the UN law, the Saudi-led aggression coalition has been continuing in its ambitions to take over the Yemeni health, including, oil and moral fields, Islands and seaports in the all provinces since 2015.

According the UN reports, the Saudi-led coalition has been intervening in Yemen not to help Yemenis, but it seeks only to loot oil health and push millions of the Yemeni people to the brink of starvation through killing thousands of Yemenis, bombing weddings hells, schools and hospitals, and destroying infrastructure.

In this regard, the media outlets on Sunday circulated reports about Saudi Arabia has established a military base on the Yemeni island of Zuqar, which is the largest island of the Hanish.

Meanwhile, Military observers indicated that the Saudi military moves in Zuqar island represent in reality the old UAS ambitions to control the Strait of Bab al-Mandab, linking the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

Political analysts denied the possibility that Saudi Arabia might be beyond the issue of tensions raising in the way of international navigation on the Red Sea, where process of exporting Gulf oil passes through Bab al-Mandab.

The analysts added that Riyadh does not have any audacity to raise the indignation of the major countries such as China and Russia, which are concerned about any military moves that endanger international trade routes in the Red Sea, affirming that Saudi role is just a cover for American desire and efforts to seek and control the Bab al-Mandab and the Yemeni islands in the Red Sea.

In September 2017, the coalition countries established a military base on Mayon Island, located at the entrance to Bab al-Mandab in an attempt to a fire control and to achieve the coalition war’s real aims in dominance on Yemen and its strategic islands.
